• Supervise the Finance team.
• Lead the preparations, reviews, analysis and consolidation of the company budget.
• Lead the preparations and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
• Provide information for the preparations of the Quarterly board pack, financial analysis and variance reports and commentaries.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws.
• Liaison with external and internal audits and implement recommendation.
• Tracking internal cost which helps in making decisions related to production and operation.
• Lead and oversee monthly and annual closing tasks for the company is done accurately and timely.
• Monthly reviews and monitoring subsidiaries transaction and reconciliations of related parties
• Regularly provide technical support to the accounts team and subsidiaries
• Review and approve daily cash operations at the head office.
• Revenue and Expenditures Variance Reports analysis and trends, and provide financial interpretations based on analysis and advise accordingly.
• To continuously work with Head of Finance and ensure Monthly/Quarterly and Annual management Reports are accurate and timely submitted within deadlines.
• Advice the Head of Finance on revision of financial policies and procedures in strengthening internal controls procedures and systems.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plan in collaboration with ICT department.
• Set KPIs with subordinates, undertake performance appraisals.
• Based on performance appraisal and identified skills gap, develop accountants in area of financial management, tax, interface by coaching, mentorship, identifying relevant external and internal training opportunities
