Perform all necessary tire, dismounts and amounts of all tires at store location & field services calls.
Check in, code and tag all tire inventories.
Help monitor the tire inventory.
Maintain and secure the warehouse, as well as keep it neat and clean.
Maintain all tire department equipment to keep in safe working order and report all problems and breakage to supervisor or management.
Be responsible for starting and turning in all work-orders and tickets to supervisor or manager.
Help will be provided as deemed necessary by management and when it is available.
If no tire work is available, yo would be expected to help with other job duties such as equipment set-up, mechanics helper or any other related department duties.
Report all accidents immediately to your supervisor or management.
Able to follow directions from a supervisor.
Able to interact effectively with co-workers.
Able to understand and comply wit posted rules and procedures
Able to accept constructive criticism.
The basic commercial tire services training and certificate program is desired
There are no specific educational requirements for the job.
Good communication and math skills are helpful.
Background in tire or automotive repair is an asset.
4. knowledge/skills and experience.
Must have the strength and manual dexterity to remove, lift, repair and install tires.
knowledge of various types of tires, treads, rims and inflation requirements aids in the repair process.
Effective scheduling abilities enables the specialist to serve multiple customers.
Prior experience in the field of Tyre fitting is an added advantage.
