Reporting Structure

Reporting to: Systems & Data Analysis Manager Supervision of: None Interact with: Clients & Employees

Main Duties

 

ETL developer is responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions. After the groundwork has been laid, hence testing the designs to ensure the system runs smoothly.  Be an expert at aking a big-picture view of the company's data situation. A skill set called data modeling. Need to be able to read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals.

  • Mapping of data fields from Core Banking and other banking systems according to data specifications.

  • Design and integration testing of ETL batches

 

 


Candidate Specification:

Education: Proficiency Certificate
Experience: 2 years
Skills: database proficiency , data extraction , intergration
Ability to: Communicate and interact effectively on technical subject matter with non-specialists , Detailed oriented with the ability to focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail , Able to manage time effectively
Culture: Multicultural
Software: sql , oracle , sqlite
Knowledge of: data mapping , design and intergation
Personality: critical thinker , result oriented , analytical

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Relational Databases
  • Experience in extracting data from core banking systems (such as T24/ Finacle)
  • Experience in data intergration with any ETL tool (such as Pentaho/ informaticah)
  • Good understanding of stored procedures, functions and triggers
