Main Duties

Responsibility for Internal and External relations

Internal

  • Understanding of the business setup & business process flow as well as reporting needs so as to analyse the requirements and coordinate accordingly for resolutions
  • Support internal business teams by offering solutions,answering functional & technical as well as procedural questions for less experienced teammembers, teaching existing and new improved processes, mentoring team members

External

  • Work with consultants, vendors and service providers to ensure services are delivered and issues resolutions as per SLAs

Managerial/Supervisoryresponsibilities

  • Managing direct report as per guidance by IT Manager

Operational responsibilities

  • Ensure that SAP S4 HANA & other business systems are working as designed & is aligned to mandated business processes
  • Collaborative with power users and consultant for business requirements gathering & problem evaluation & solutions provision
  • Coordinate and participate in any system integration, change management testing, performance and acceptantance testing for the company
  • Enhance SAP S/4 HANA and business systems solutions team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions, answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members, teaching improved processes, mentoring team members
  • Identifies SAP S/4 HANA & business systems solutions requirements by interviewing key business users: analysing work processes and operations; establishing solutions objectives; preparing specifications.
  • Develops SAP S/4 HANA & solutions by designing intergrated models; identifying and evaluating solutions options; resolving major solution issues.
  • Coordinates with IT support team to ensure delivery of ERP system and demands to business users are fulfilled within SLAs
  • Maintain and document compliance and standards of IT procedures, internal controls related to ERP systems
  • Work with vendors and service providers  to ensure service are delivered & issues resolutions as per SLAs
  • Managing direct reports as per guidance by ICT manager
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by company management

Responsibility for physical Assets

  • Making sure IT hardware and SAP software are properly working and taken care of

Budgetary responsibility

  • May provide information for the budget nto IT manager

Responsibility for procurement

  • Assist the procurement department in selection of IT equipment in line with required IT specifications

Working conditions

  • Good working environment with less ergonomics risk

 

 


Other Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in IT , Business Administration or other related field scientific or technical discipline required, with exposure to business operations, ERP & preferably SAP S/4 HANA 
  • Experience in ERP implementations or support in a manufacturing industry
  • Business intelligence, data analysis and reporting
  • IT service management
  • Effective communications & collaborations skills
  • Professional registration, registration with computer society of Tanzania
  • Working on manufacturing industry with experience on SAP S/4 HANA environment minimum 3 years
  • Good interpersonal skkills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across teams
  • Excellent personal organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Abiliry to identify issues, formulate opinions, make conclusions and recommendations. shows pride in work and in achievements
  • Customer focused and problem solver
