Description
- This role involves capturing high-quality images of wildlife, landscapes, safari vehicles, guests, and nature scenes. The photographer will be stationed primarily in Mikumi and Nyerere, with scheduled travel to Ruaha and Udzungwa when needed. Monthly compensation will be provided, along with full accommodation and internal transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Join and document daily game drives with guests and guides across assigned parks.
- Capture compelling wildlife and nature photography that reflects the essence of safari life.
- Work collaboratively with guides and safari teams to anticipate key moments.
- Deliver professionally edited images suitable for marketing, web, and social media.
- Manage equipment in field conditions and adapt to diverse lighting and movement challenges.
Other Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in wildlife and/or nature photography (portfolio required).
- Excellent storytelling ability through images, with attention to composition and lighting.
- Ability to work in the bush for extended periods and adapt to dynamic field conditions.
- Proficiency in handling Sony Alpha 7RV or similar high-end camera systems.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Must be ready to start immediately and commit to a 6-month contract.
- Ownership of additional camera gear is a plus.
