Main Duties
Job Scope
- Drive growth and expand the market coverage in the allocated region geared towards meeting the sales targets in volume and value.
Responsibilities
- Maximize price realisation within set parameters
- Achieve product wise, profile wise, targeted product mix including new products
- Promote product at strategic locations through road shows and customer contact program at retail outlets
- Book orders from distributors/retailers and collect payment as per the monthly plan
- Identify and recommend new stockists/ retailers in assigned territories and retain credible customers
- Execute Sales Promotion plan as per the yearly promotion calendar
- Ensure delivery and display of POS material and its effective usage
- Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders
- Resolve customer complaints and give timely feedback
- Ensure all accounts are within the stipulated credit limit, fulfil credit formalities with personal guarantee form and reconcile all accounts within stipulated period.
- Visit customers regularly and carry out over the counter activities
- Prepare and submit appropriate reports on a timely basis
Other Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies
- Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Qualifications as an added advantage: Diploma in Sales & Marketing
- General work experience (years): 7-10 years
- Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 7 years Industry: FMCG
Authority:
- Set targets of Sales and Collection for Dealers on a Monthly basis.
- Propose a change of credit terms with substantial backup data to grow the business revenues or minimize risk management.
Performance Measurement Criteria:
- To achieve Sales and Collection targets and meet monthly deadlines.
- To resolve all customer complaints and communicate with customers on any deviations observed.
- To manage credit terms for all the Dealers and Distributor and ensure no over-dues.
