Main Duties
Job Purpose
- This position is responsible for assisting Logistics in managing all the chemicals. Ensure all incoming shipments are intact and accurate, review shipment documentation such as invoices and packing lists, and maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
- Work with shipping vendors, coordinate returns of merchandise and manage electronic shipping files.
Responsibilities
- He /She will be responsible for all imports and GRN.
- Oversee the development of new freight business, maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients in the local market, and drive the business for maximum utilization of existing facilities.
- Ensure that financial management (billing and invoicing) and reporting for freight is carried out in accordance with company requirements.
- Port Clearing
- Registration of other documents related to logistics
- Logistics and timely customs clearance of company importation
- Weekly report of in transit goods
- Liaising with clearing agents , customers, various shipping lines,
- Will be working closely with sales and logistics teams.
- Lead and motivate team drive quality and performance.
- Management may assign you any other job depending on the requirement of the company during the course of employment
Other Requirements
Qualification
- Must have knowledge in clearing and forwarding.
- Must have knowledge in recording management.
- Must have knowledge in logistics related matters.
- Experience in vehicle delivery
- Must have excellent communication and computer skill
- Good customer care service.
