Main Duties

List of key duties that will be used in performance evaluation including targets

• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities - including new markets,growth areas,trends,customers,partnerships,products and services-or new ways of reaching existing market
• Genarates leads, and cold call prospective customers
• Set and archieve revenue targets,monitor sales performance and report key metrics to senior management
• Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline and track progress using a reporting system
• Develop strategies to secure long term clients/contracts and drive revenue growth with businesses in need of highly seals
• Build and nurtue strong long term relationships with customers, industry partners and decision makers,ensuring repeat business  and referrals.
• Acquire & maintain the necessary levels of technical expertise to sell our products with accuracy and confidence
• Collaborate with the technical team to promote our product range and recommend tailored solutions to clients.
• Represent the company at industry events,exhibitions, and networking functions to raise brand awareness
• Seek ways of improving the way the business operates

Other Requirements

Qualification

• Education level: (Certificates,Diploma,Bachelor degree,Masters Degree,Phd)
• Minimum Bachelor degree level with over 3 years experience
• Other qualifications (relevant to postion)
• Software: relevant to position applied for (ms office, SAP.ERP etc), Proficiency in microsoft office and customer relationship management systems
• Equipment knowledge-Exposure to industrial equipment ( eg construction,industrial)

• Proven sales tarck record
• Analytical skills to look for and assess opportunities,markets trends and new opportunities
• Time management and palnning skills
• Problem solving skills
• A teamplayer with good leadership skills
• Strong business acumen and ethics
• Computer literate

Ability to eg to communicate effectively

• Communicate effectively in both swahili and english
• Negotiate terms to propose mutually beneficial solutions
• Handle objections and close deals
• Florish with minimal guidance be proactive ,take the initiative,meet deadlines and handle uncertainly

Personality eg mature outgoing etc
