Main Duties
Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure that the cafe operates efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe in line with health and safety regulations.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff.
- Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure adequate staffing during busy and slow periods.
- Motivate and mentor team members to achieve performance goals.
- Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts promptly.
Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and complaints effectively.
- Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to service delivery.
Financial Management
- Monitor daily revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities.
- Handle cash flow, reconcile daily receipts, and ensure proper accounting procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and reduce costs.
Marketing and Promotions
- Plan and execute promotional activities to attract customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns and social media strategies.
- Identify trends and incorporate them into product offerings and promotions.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Address any issues related to food safety or customer safety.
Other Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or any other related field
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
