Main Duties

Description

• Seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Service Operations Manager to oversee and streamline operations across our cleaning service projects in Tanzania.
• The successful candidate will ensure high-quality service delivery, efficient management of resources, and excellent client satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in cleaning services.

 Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of cleaning services across multiple client locations.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to meet client needs and adhere to contractual agreements.
• Monitor and manage quality assurance procedures to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and sanitation protocols in compliance with national regulations.

Team Management

• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning staff, ensuring high levels of performance and motivation.
• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and schedule adjustments to meet operational demands.

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, feedback, and additional service requests promptly.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess service quality and build strong client relationships.
• Ensure client satisfaction through consistent communication and effective resolution of issues.

Resource and Inventory Management

• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of cleaning equipment as needed.
• Develop cost-effective strategies for purchasing and supply management to maximize budget efficiency.

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning operations, ensuring cost control and resource allocation.
• Monitor expenses and implement strategies to minimize waste and reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Assist in pricing services and developing proposals for new client opportunities.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to cleaning and sanitation services.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management, providing insights into service performance, budget adherence, and operational challenges.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate service delivery and identify areas for improvement.

Other Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cleaning services or facilities management, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
• Proven experience in managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and staff interaction.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 Work Conditions:

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Frequent travel to various client sites across Tanzania.
