On Operations
• Manage all operations within the country- taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash, and quality
targets.
• Planning and implementation, performance reporting, recruiting, and managing staff.
On Business development.
• Demonstrate deep market understanding -deep understanding of customers, competitors, and the
market environments. Over time, build out these relationships to grow Qore’s business objectives.
On Strategy.
Unafraid to do things and be a person the team will rely on.
• Be Qore’s ambassador and country rep. in the market- meaning they need to educate Qore on the
country’s needs.
• Be able to demonstrate the market potential and how to capture and nurture such potential.
On Management.
Demonstrate the ability to deal with 360-degree management with a big picture of the overall business.
• Lead market development and penetration operations and motions.
• Demonstrate some understanding & experience of the Financial Institutions (FI) business or that of
technology Independent software vendors (ISV) in the FS category, management level: bottom-up
stakeholder management and top-down strategy and objectives implementation.
Potential day-to-day would look like this:
• Sales and marketing activities: plan and execute for deal origination.
• Originate and manage deal pipelines.
• Determine new opportunities for expanding the market.
• Represent Qore to the industry stakeholders.
• Develop all eco-system relationships Qore needs to deliver value to customers.
• Manage in-country operations.
• Routinely report on all operations to growth and expansion functions.
• Demonstration of a Tech business background is most preferred (experience in sales and business
operations).
• Right profile: cultural fitness, relevant sector network and experience.
• Demonstrate deep Tanzanian market understanding.
• Demonstrate an understanding of how a business operates, especially an enterprise's top-down sales.
• Demonstrate excellent networking skills. (Ability to do relationships marketing)
• Demonstrate ability for account planning and running sales-led motions.
• Demonstrate great interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, execute and report on operations, strategies, and plans.
