Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance functions. This position requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with FMCG operations, and a passion for uncovering trends and patterns to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (sales, marketing, inventory, customer feedback, etc.)
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and reports to monitor business KPIs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance, supply chain efficiency, and market penetration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and deliver data solutions.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models for sales, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in all reporting and analytics tasks.
- Automate repetitive data processes and improve reporting efficiency using tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
- Present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Other Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or retail industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Power BI/Tableau.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
