Main Duties

Job Overview

• The finance and Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the financial and accounting functions of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing financial analysis and advice to the CEO and management team. The position will also be responsible for managing the finance and accounting team

Duties

• Manage the day to day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger etc
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements and provide insights into financial performance
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to the CEO and management
• Build proper internal control and corporate governance by developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
• Manage budgets process and provide ongoing monitoring and analysis of actual versus budgeted results
• Work with section leaders to develop and monitor departmental budgets and provide financial guidance and analysis to support decision making
• Manage the auditing process and ensure compliance  with all audit requirements
• Manage the finance and accounting team, including hiring, training and coaching staff to ensure high level of performance and productivity
• Maintains relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and regulatory agencies
• Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, new product launches and capital investments
• Preparations and report of subsidiary consolidation packages and other materials

Other Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Must be certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 5 years experience in finance and accounting as well as management roles
• Experience managing teams and developing staff
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
