Main Duties
Responsibilities :
- Support Business in preparation of company business plan.
- Responsible for financial analysis of operation.
- Project cash flow requirements based on Business Plan.
- To ensure that due process is followed in established company norms and work towards ensuring SAP details are available on real-time basis.
- Work closely with banks for foreign currency requirement and ensuring best possible rates.
- Preparation and monitoring of the Budgetary and Forecasting Control System.
- Responsible for the reporting of Management Accountancy Reports via the production of Monthly Accounts.
- Responsible for preparation of Investment analysis and Project evaluation.
- Responsible for Payroll management
- Liaison with Banks, Auditors and tax consultants
- Responsible for the review of Purchase Orders once approved, ensuring requisitions have been made in accordance with Company procedures.
- To assist the management in obtaining details of Legal and Statutory Requirements by consultation with persons qualified to judge the implications of transactional requirements and capable of suggesting actions that should be taken in the best interests of the Company.
- Set up systems for Internal and External Audit for process control.
- Responsible for the timely compliance with the annual external audit requirements in order to finalise the Audited Accounts by the end of every financial year.
- Responsible for internal control procedures in accordance with general accounting control principles.
- Responsible for performance evaluation and training and development of accounting staff.
- MIS /Monthly report presentation to the management.
Other Requirements
Experience:
- Should have relevant experience (6-8 years) in similar role.
Required Qualification:
- Should have a professional degree (CA/MBA) in Finance with at least 7-10 years of experience in company in
- Tanzania. Experience in similar role in a petroleum company would be preferable.
