Main Duties

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern with a keen interest in Industrial Relations and Recruitment. The intern will support the Human Resources team in maintaining positive employee relations and assisting in the recruitment process.
• This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR practices within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Relations:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining records related to employee disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Support the HR team in organizing meetings with staff representatives or unions.
• Assist in conducting research on labor laws, industrial disputes, and workplace compliance.
• Help track employee feedback and support workplace engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of HR activities and assist with compliance reporting.

Recruitment:

• Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
• Screen resumes and schedule interviews in coordination with hiring managers.
• Participate in interview processes where appropriate (e.g., note-taking, scheduling).
• Support onboarding processes, including document collection and induction sessions.
• Maintain recruitment databases and prepare weekly status reports.

Other Requirements

Qualifications:

• Recently completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and recruitment processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
