Main Duties

KEY DUTIES (KPI’s)

List of key duties that will be used in performance evaluation including targets

• Work as a Senior Machine Operator in Shifts.
• Operate HDPE/PVC extruders and related equipment’s independently.
• Optimize extruders to run at its rated capacities.
• Ensures tool changes, raw materials and operating parameters are as per given process engineering specifications.
• Maintain required quality for the products as per the standards.
• Pipe finishing activities, postproduction activities or any other production related task given by the manager/supervisor.
• Maintain machines are always in good condition.
• Always maintaining good housekeeping with the machines and the factory.
• Communicating effectively to the management about all the production related matters.
• Fill in the necessary reports and forms on time.
• Follow Safety as per company HSE policy.

Other Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level: 

• Form IV/Certificate/ Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in Plastic Pipe production

Other qualifications:(Relevant to position)

• Sound mind and physical fitness.
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to work independently
• Software: Relevant to position applied for (i.e MS Office, SAP,ERP,etc)
• Equipment knowledge:
• HDPE/PVC extruders Operation,HDPE/PVC extruders Operation
• Skills required (to perform this role), Machine maintenance, Pipe finishing activities, postproduction activities
• Ability To: eg. to communicate effectively, English & Swahili
• Personality: e.g. Mature, outgoing etc),Mature
