Main Duties
Description
- OPTOMETRIST the main goal is to perform vision test and analyses results.
Responsibilities
- Checking of refractive power, intraocular pressure, Subjective Refraction and Retinoscopy.
- To abide with the company policies and procedures including uniformity and tidiness/smartness
- Checking colour blindness, EOM (Extra Ocular Movements) and Pupil Reaction
- Maintaining report and record ie. case sheet in/out time and signature, and investigation register
- and contact lens register.
- Explaining treatment procedures step by step to every patient
- Equipment maintenance as per bio-medical norms
- To maintain Quality of work
- Contact Lens fitting and dispensing.
- Knowledge of Cataract, Glaucoma & Orthoptics Investigations
- Knowledge of Squint Workup, Diplopia Charting, Retinoscopy,
- Knowledge of Posterior Segment Evaluation: Fundus Fluorecin Angiography, Posterior Optical
- Coherence Tomography, B – Scan, Pachymetry.
- Knowledge of Cornea Evaluation: Orbscan, Aberrometry and Anterior Segment OCT, Contrast
- Sensitivity, W4DT (Worth 4 Dot Test), Schirmer test for Dry Eye.
- Any other additional duties that will be assigned
Other Requirements
Required Skills:
- Diploma/ Degree in Optometry
- Handling Ophthalmic Instruments, Refraction
- Performing all required Ophthalmic Test,
- Acting on Emergency Situation,
- Computer knowledge
