Main Duties
- Achieve Parts sales growth plans and business objectives through the timely and accurate placement of stock orders, effectivetive management of the Parts supply chain and optimal stock holding ensuring parts availability at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain, develop and promote effective networks with both customers and supplires on parts issues.
- Ensure timely and accurate orders are made and dispatched in conformity to supplier standards.
- Send and coordinate SMR report with TTAF and prepare a return for credit to the SMR account.
- Checks parts costings and rewards to Parts Manager for approval and onward forwarding.
- Manage parts stock ordering.
- Manage VOR parts ordering
- Ensure parts damaged in transit are invoiced to the insurance claims account.
- Give support to stock take activities.
- Prepare monthly departmental reports as well as monthly reviews.
- Ensure job process flows and procedures are in conformity with TMC guidelines
- Management of parts lost sales for parts out of stock.
- Oversee workshop WIP-Parts supply/ workshop synchronization.
- Sources for parts from local suppliers and ensures timely delivery of quality parts to TUGA offices.
- Reports on a monthly basis on parts cost sales and service rates capturing.
- Collects on a daily basis and complies monthly inputs to the monthly parts reports.
- Orders parts and follows up untill delivery.
- Monitor lead times for all processes handled and ensure there is smooth operations in all the processes for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations to protect the organization from customs
penalties. - Receives parts and makes sure they are released into stock on a timely basis
- Coordinates stock consignment documentation and avails them to the clearing agents for timely goods clearance.
- Adhere to all company SOP
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned to him/her
Other Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Procurement or a related business discipline
- Two years Experience in Supply chain management
- Product & Automotive Industry Knowledge is an added advantage
