Main Duties

Duties and Responsibilities/Majukumu ya kazi:

The intern will be employed as a security guard intern, reporting to the supervisors and ultimately the head of security. The intern shall be required to assist with the following activities and rules: Mfanyakazi wa kujitolea atakuwa akifanya kazi kama mlinzi msaidizi wa usalama, akiripoti kwa wasimamizi na kwa Mkuu wa Idara ya Ulinzi. Mwajiriwa atahitajika kusaidia na shughuli na sheria zifuatazo:

• Protect all KPL property at the assigned post to the best of your ability. Kulinda mali za kampuni kwa wadilifu katika eneo lako la kazi kwa nguvu zote.
• Assist in investigating any crimes through a fair and committed manner in order to determine justice without harboring any personal or sentimental attitudes. Kuchunguza uhalifu kwa namna ya haki na kwa kujituma ili kugundua uhalifu bila kumuonea mtu yeyote au kushurutisha.
• Provide KPL management through the Chief Security Officer with timely information of threats from both external and internal sources. Kuupatia uwongozi wa KPL kwa kupitia Mkuu wa Usalama taarifa za vitisho kutoka vyanzo vya ndani na nje kwa wakati.
• Attend for duty depending on your roster one hour before the start of your shift to receive a proper handover from the outgoing shift. Kuingia kazini itategemeana na orodha iliyopangwa na ni saa mmoja kabla ya muda wa kuanza kazi ili kuwezesha kufanyika kwa makabidhiano yatakayo fanyika kati yako na mlinzi anaye maliza kazi yake kwa wakati huo.
• Attend every parade that relates to your shift. Kuhudhuria katika gwaride kulingana na zamu uliyopangwa.
• Wear full uniform while on duty. Kuwa katika sare kamili za kazi uwapo kazini.
• Conduct perimeter checks – where fences are checked daily at every passage. Kukagua kama eneo/mzunguko - Kuhakikisha fensi/ uzio inakaguliwa katika kila sehemu zilizo wazi.
• Where electric fences are to be checked – these have to be checked if the electricity is passing through and in the event of power failure. Kukagua fensi/ uzio wa umeme – unatakiwa kukagua kama umeme unapita katika uzio huo ama laa na pia wakati umeme umekatika.
• Ensure the technical solutions are sound and working, and in the event they are not, report to the control room and technical department. Kuhakikisha kuwa vifaa vya tahadhari vya kiufundi vinafanya kazi vizuri, endapo vifaa hivyo vya kiufundi havifanyi kazi ipasavyo basi taarifa itolewe katika chumba cha udhibiti na idara ya ufundi.
• Ensure all books are reported properly - occurrence book, logbooks, and handover books are reported on time as per company standards. Vitabu vyote vinatakiwa vijazwe ipasavyo - Kitabu cha matukio, kitabu cha ruhusa na kitabu cha makabidhiano yaliyofanyika ndani kwa kuzingatia muda na viwango vya kampuni.
• Report any abnormalities which will or could distort the operations or remuneration and cause loss to the security officers and the Company, to the supervisors and document this in writing. Kutolea taarifa kwa maandishi dosari lolote litakalotokea ama linaloweza kupotosha shughuli ama malipo na kusababisha hasara kwa maafisa wa usalama, kwa Kampuni ama kwa wasimamizi na kwa maandishi.
• Sign the daily occurrence logbook. Kuweka saini kwenye vitabu vya matukio kila siku.
• Understand that any security guard who has any questionable integrity will be challenged or not redeployed until, through written instructions from the head of security and signed off by the General Manager, is granted accordingly. Kuhakikisha mlinzi yeyote wa usalama ambaye ana uadilifu wa mashaka wowote atahojiwa au hatapangwa kazi hadi utakapopata maelekezo kwa njia ya maandishi toka kwa mkuu wa usalama na iliyosainiwa na Meneja mkuu.
• Perform their duties on any unforeseen matters, changes, and extension of the duties according to the company needs as directed. Kutekeleza majukumu ya kazi endapo kuna mambo yasiotazamiwa yakijitokeza, mabadiliko na kuongezeka kwa kazi kulingana na
