Main Duties
SUMMARY
- The main role for a stock & inventory officer is to ensure that stock levels are optimized to meet operational needs. Stock officer will be required to receive new stock from the production department and to record and store stock accurately and handling products being shipped to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Send all daily stock records to the
- stock supervisor on time.
- Work with the supervisor to update every quarter of the minimum stock levels.
- Inspect all incoming stock for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure that received goods meet required standards and are free from defects or damage.
- Monitor stock levels and notify supervisor(s) of any defects, damages and
- any other issues on time.
- Ensure FIRST IN FIRST OUT is applied and always maintained.
- Oversee the organization and layout of storage areas.
- Conduct with supervisor physical stock and inventory inspection at the
- end of every two (2) weeks.
- Use inventory management software to track inventory levels,
- set reorder points, and generate reports.
Other Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- At least 1+ year experience in inventory or warehouse management
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to forecast and manage stock levels efficiently
- Good computer skills
