Job Summary:
- The Van Sales Supervisor will leads a team of Van Sales Representatives , ensuring sales targets and efficient FMCG distribution. The role involves onboarding new customers, maintaining service standards, stock reconciliation, and providing regular performance feedback for improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Van Sales Representatives to ensure they meet monthly sales targets and effectively distribute FMCG products to general trade customers.
- Implement strategies to identify and onboard new customers, expanding market coverage.
- Oversee the planning and execution of sales routes for the team, ensuring consistent service levels for all customers.
- Ensure team members adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of service.
- Foster strong relationships between Van Sales Representatives and customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly, escalating when necessary, to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Supervise stock handling and accountability for all vehicles, ensuring the team follows proper procedures for stock reconciliation and returns.
- Oversee the proper maintenance of stock levels and ensure the timely delivery of orders.
- Review and validate daily sales, orders, and cash collections reports submitted by team members.
- Provide regular feedback and performance reports to the Sales Manager to identify areas for improvement.
Other Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 - 7 years of proven experience in van sales and supervision within the FMCG sector, particularly in the general trade market.
- Must own a reliable vehicle.
- Proficient in driving manual vehicles with a valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
