Main Duties
Main purpose of the position:
- To drive growth of sales for LGST(Framecad) segment as one of the identified businesses and meet to set out targets for the Tanzania operation profitably.
- Accelerate penetration of light gauge Steel Trussing through collaboration with industry players and direct selling techniques
- Ensure all projects are profitable and customer payments and project milestones are achieved on time in full.
- Initiate concept developments with marketing to expand scope of LGST in the built environment and position the same as a SMART and Green solution.

Key responsibilities:
- Build and grow sales in Tanzania to drive growth of light gauge Steel Trussing and Structures
- To achieve the annual targets both in terms of volume and value
- Formulate sales strategies towards achieving set business and segment targets.
- Collaborate with marketing function and identify potential/new business opportunities and new market segments.
- Formulate policy and guideline in handling business contracts, securing required contact and background information on clients and competitors and creation/management of client database.
- Prepare sales forecasts, objectives, and development of robust project pipelines.
- To develop a robust pipeline of projects for LGST through engagements with several stakeholders’ groups to drive volume and value engineering solutions.
- Build relationship with Architects, consultants, builders, specifiers, and other related stakeholders.
- Coordination with internal departments for design and estimation based on customer`s requirements/consultant`s drawings for project quotation.
- Manage the full life cycle of project delivery in conjunction with Project and Technical manager.
- Ensure efficient customer relations management and customer service.
- Ensure customer accounts are within credit limits, cash collection and debtor`s management.
- Monitor competition closely and provide regular reporting with respect to competitor strategy, products, and prices.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources, equipment, material and maintain staffing level as per the company standard.
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned.

Qualifications required:
Minimum academic qualification:
- Technical Graduate in Engineering or Architecture
Qualifications as an added advantage:
- Master’s in business management preferred.
- Sales and Marketing Diploma is an added advantage.

Experience required:

- 10 years in Technical and Commercial Sales
