Main Duties
Main purpose of the position:
To achieve production targets
- Supervise and coordinate the inspection and testing activities to improve the quality of products and services and eliminate liability of the organization from non conforming products
Reporting in to this position (designation and level)
- Routine/Direct: Production Supervisor.
- Functional/Indirect: Machine Operators, Crane Operator, Roll grinder Operators
Responsibility for Internal and external relations
- Internal:.
- External: ERB, TBS
Key responsibilities:
Managerial /Supervisory responsibilities
- Production Supervisor, Operators
Operational responsibilities/Tasks.
- Achieve production targets, Online Posting of Production in ERP (SAPB1/HANA), EHS Compliance and discipline of the Team
- Ensure shift production targets are met
- Analyse product yield reports (daily, monthly, and periodic reviews) and submit the reports.
- Control generation of defective product and non- conforming products and initiate process improvements
- Ensure production quality.
- control consumption of consumables
- Analyse, prepare and submit customer complaints reports for use in improvement in quality control and prevention of re-occurrence
- Knowledge in hydraulic machines.
- Shift Report and delay/issues communication through Mobile, reports, text or approved communication channels
- Equipment Checklist compliance and reporting
- Machine, Warehouse and Plant upkeep
Optimize Human Resource talent
- Identify training needs and facilitate on the job training
- Supervise housekeeping practices in line with Kaizen principal.
- Does any other responsibilities as may be assigned by Manager

Qualifications required:
Minimum academic qualification:
- University Degree (B sc Engineering or equivalent)
- Qualifications as an added advantage:
Msc. In Mechanical Engineering, managerial skills.
- Professional registration:
- Must be registered with ERB
Experience required:
- General work experience (years): 3 years
- Industry: Manufacturing Industry.
