Main Duties

Responsibilities

• Ensuring smooth patient flow and keeping waiting time at minimal
• Co-ordinating with all Departments (Internally / externally), for correct information and communicate them with patient where necessary
• To abide with the company policies and procedures including uniformity and tidiness/smartness
• Receiving the Patient and capturing all the required information to the company database
• Entering Registration details in the system
• Explaining to the Patient(s) the where about of the hospital including various facilities, schemes and promotional tools e.g. toilets, water dispenser
• Attending to telephone calls and giving adequate information to clients as per their inquiry
• Receive payments through cash in Tanzanian shillings and issuing receipt
• Ensure all pre and post-surgery documents collected, co-payment informed and collected to all credit patients
• To ensure cash collected tallies with EMR and E-Clinic system at all times
• Ensure all credit bills and relevant documents are submitted within 48hours.
• Send pre-Auath in time and getting approval
• To escort or provide guidance to patients to the next destination of their treatment when and where necessary as part of patient care principles
• To be supportive to patients at all times
• Explaining basic details i.e medicines, treatment & reason(s) for waiting to the patients
• Updating patient files daily(upon their visit) and scanning the updated ones in the EMR system
• Any other additional duties that will be assigned

Other Requirements

Required Skills: 

• Certificate/ Diploma in Nursing
• Good Communication,
• Basic Computer knowledge, 
• Friendly behaviour,
• Experience in cash handling,
• Multi-lingual ability
